T20 World Cup: India Loses To New Zealand By 8 Wickets, Stares At Early Exit

Pratidin Bureau

India lost to New Zealand by eight wickets in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 on Sunday, in quite a clinical way.

India could manage a below-par 110/7 in their vital match today. Meanwhile, New Zealand chased down the target with still 33 balls to spare.

With this loss, India is staring at an embarrassing early exit from the T20 World Cup. Currently they lie in the bottom six-team table with two back-to-back defeats and will require a special effort if they want to qualify for the semi-finals.

India will clash against Afghanistan on November 3 (Wednesday).
