4.7 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Guwahati REPRESENTATIVE
An earthquake of 3.7 magnitude on the Richter scale jolted Assam’s Guwahati on Monday evening.
Tremors were felt in the neighbouring regions including Bangladesh and Bhutan.
The quake struck at around 4:52 PM with a depth of 10km.
Taking to Twitter, the official account of the National Center for Seismology (NCS) wrote,”Earthquake of Magnitude:3.7, Occurred on 17-04-2023, 16:52:27 IST, Lat: 26.22 & Long: 91.54, Depth: 10 Km ,Location: Kamrup, Assam, India.”
