BREAKING: 3.7 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Guwahati

A 3.7 magnitude earthquake struck Assam on Friday morning, tremors of which were felt across Guwahati.

According to initial information, the earthquake struck at around 10.6 am. The epicenter is thought to be near Dhekiajuli in Assam's Sonitpur district.

Taking to Twitter, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) informed, "Earthquake of Magnitude:3.7, Occurred on 09-06-2023, 10:05:59 IST, Lat: 26.60 & Long: 92.40, Depth: 10 Km ,Location: 39km W of Tezpur, Assam, India."
