Customs Department Seize Foreign Cigarettes Worth Rs 95 Lakh In Guwahati

Foreign-origin cigarettes worth Rs 95 lakh were seized by the customs department in Guwahati on Monday.

As per reports, the cigarettes were recovered from a truck bearing registration number AS 11 DC 7760 at Games village.

Meanwhile, the driver and the handyman were detained for questioning.

The customs department informed that the recovered cigarettes were manufactured in China and South Korea.
