Dacoits Loot Rs 2 Lakh Cash from Parked Car in Guwahati’s Six Mile
According to initial reports, a gang of two dacoits vandalized a vehicle parked in the road and looted around Rs 2 lakh cash.
A gang of dacoits looted a huge amount of cash from a parked car in broad daylight in Guwahati, reports emerged on Thursday.
The incident occurred at VIP Road in Guwahati’s Sixmile area. According to initial reports, a gang of two dacoits vandalized a vehicle, bearing the registration number AS-01 DK- 4949, parked in the road and looted around Rs 2 lakh cash.
The vehicle belonged to Kamal Krishna Nath, owner of the PIAGGIO showroom in Hengrabari.
Meanwhile, the Dispur police have reached the incident spot and launched an investigation. The police are also inspecting the CCTV cameras installed at the spot.
