A massive fire broke out at a godown in Guwahati’s Lalganesh locality in the morning hours on Sunday, leading to the evacuation of people for their safety.
The fire tenders along with the SDRF personnel were summoned to handle the situation.
Accordingly, the fire tenders have arrived promptly and is actively working to control the fire. No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire has been suspected to be due to a short-circuit.
