The Income Tax department is currently carrying out a raid on the properties of Dr Pramod Sharma, the owner of Pratiksha Hospital in Guwahati.
According to sources, the IT Department is conducting raids at various places in the city, including Dr Sharma's residence and the hospital situated on VIP road.
It has been reported that the hospital is facing allegations of significant tax evasion and not maintaining proper records of its income.
