Guwahati: Edu Min Ranoj Pegu’s P.A Arrested on Alleged Charges Of Rape

Assam police have arrested the personal assistant (P.A) of state education minister Ranoj Pegu on Thursday for allegedly raping his ex-girlfriend.

As per reports, the accused, identified as one Lakhi Gogoi, allegedly raped his ex-girlfriend on the pretext of marriage. He was arrested from Guwahati's Japorigog area.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered against Gogoi at the Dispur police station case no 3821/21 under section 376,417 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Gogoi has now been produced before the court by city police.
