Three persons posing as personnel of the Border Security Force (BSF) have been arrested in Assam's Silchar on Thursday.

As per sources, the arrested individuals hail from Uttar Pradesh. They have been identified as Chandan Singh, Amit Kumara and Sahil.

The trio had come to Silchar with fake appointment letters with an aim to join the force.
