The Officer in-charge (OC) of Dhula Police Station in Assam’s Darrang district has been suspended with immediate effect on Saturday.
The suspended OC has been identified as Nitai Chandra Roy.
His suspension order comes after he had allegedly violated certain rules misusing his powers.
Strict actions have been taken after allegations against the officer came to light.
