Assam Govt Transfers Senior ACS Officers in Major Administrative Reshuffle

In a major administrative reshuffle undertaken in the interest of public service, the Government of Assam has transferred and posted several Assam Civil Service (ACS) officers to new assignments across the state.

Preety Lekha Deka, ACS, serving as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Majuli, has been transferred and appointed as Co-District Commissioner, Bilasipara.

Arundhuti Narah Mipun, ACS, currently holding the post of Deputy Secretary to the Government of Assam in the Labour Welfare Department and also serving as Registrar, State Information Commission, Assam (additional charge), has been transferred and posted as Co-District Commissioner, New Guwahati.

Chandana Boruah, ACS, Deputy Secretary to the Government of Assam in the Administrative Reforms & Training, Pension & Public Grievances Departments, will now also serve as Registrar, State Information Commission, Assam, as an additional responsibility.

In the same order, Leena Kumari Pawe, ACS, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Tinsukia, has been transferred and posted as Co-District Commissioner, Margherita.

Chandan Borgohain, ACS, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Karbi Anglong, has been posted as Co-District Commissioner, Lumding.

Dimpi Gogoi, ACS, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Bongaigaon, has been transferred and posted as Co-District Commissioner, Abhayapuri.
