Assam: Body Of Newborn Found In Dumping Site In Barpeta

In a shocking turn of events, the body of a newborn was found at a dumping site in Assam’s Barpeta district.

The heartbreaking discovery was made at Gandhinagar area in Barpeta.

Local police reached the scene after being notified and recovered the body for post-mortem.

It is suspected that the baby was discarded by a couple out of a desire to evade societal stigma
