BJP Leader Attacked in Majuli

In a sensational incident, a BJP leader of Majuli has been attacked by some miscreants on Friday night. District General Secretary of BJP, Nitul Nath has been attacked with a sharp weapon near his house at Majuli.

However,the reason of attacking Nath has not yet known.

Themiscreants stabbed Nath and absconded from the scene. Nath has been rushed tohospital in a critical condition and has been referred to Dibrugarh hospitalfor advanced treatment.

Meanwhile, police has started investigation into the incident.
