Class 10 Science Exam Question Paper Leak in Majuli: Six Detained

A Class 10 science test paper under the Majuli district education block has been leaked ahead of its scheduled date, triggering swift administrative and police action. The examination, which was set to be held on June 25, has now been compromised, prompting the detention of six individuals, including headmasters and senior teachers from multiple schools across the river island.

The leaked question paper was reportedly part of a Class 10 school test, sources confirmed.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the leak originated from within schools under the Majuli education block. Following the discovery, several headmasters were summoned to the district education office for questioning. Based on initial findings, six educators have been taken into custody for their suspected involvement in the breach.

The individuals currently in police custody are:

Pradip Lakra – Principal, Saint Paul High School (Private)

Kornesh Tigga – Vice Principal, Saint Paul High School

Basa Kumar Pegu – Headmaster, Kangkan High School (Venture)

Mohananda Pegu – Headmaster, Kumarbari High School (Venture)

Prabhat Sarmah – Assistant Teacher, Jengraimukh Higher Secondary School

Prabhat Borah – Principal (in-charge), Jengraimukh Higher Secondary School

Schools under suspicion for their possible involvement in the leak include Jengraimukh Higher Secondary School, Kumarbari High School, Kangkan High School, and Saint Paul High School.
