Assam Man Accidentally Shoots Self While Cleaning Gun, Dies

A middle-aged man died after allegedly shooting himself accidently with his licensed pistol in Assam’s Dhemaji district on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Sadagar Baruah, a businessman by profession.

While the family claims that the man accidentally shot himself dead while cleaning his licensed pistol, locals allege that it was a case of suicide.

Dhemaji police have been informed of the incident. More details awaited.
