Eminent Litterateur Dr. Nagen Saikia Hospitalised After Health Deterioration

Renowned Assamese intellectual, writer, and former president of Axom Sahitya Sabha, Dr. Nagen Saikia, has been admitted to the hospital in a critical condition.

As per reports, the veteran litterateur has been unwell for the past few days and was shifted to the hospital after his condition worsened.

Dr. Saikia, a towering figure in Assamese literature and cultural thought, has contributed immensely to the state's literary and academic landscape.
