More Than Rs. 2.5 Crore Looted In The Name Of PM Kisan Samman Scheme: HC

More than Rs. 2.5 crore has been looted in the name of PM Kishan Samman Scheme implementation, said the Gauhati High Court on Wednesday.

The 73/2020 PIL on the scam of implementation of PM Kishan Samman Scheme has been heard on the Gauhati High Court on Wednesday.

According to sources, the High Court is unhappy with the investigation process.

Further, it has been revealed that huge amount of money has been released in the name of 39 lakh fake farmers. Additionally, more than Rs. 2.5 crore has been looted in the name of PM Kishan Samman Scheme implementation.

Only a small amount of the looted money has been recovered.

Notably, the government has also not been able to submit accurate information on the recovered money. No arrest has been made of the officials in-charge of implementing the scheme.

The high court have expressed disappointment on the whole case.
