Popular Tokari geet artist from Assam, Mukul Khanikar has passed away at the age of 85 years.
The noted artist is known for lending his expertise to several famous Tokari songs over the years.
Khanikar passed away at his residence at Sukanpukhuri in Sivasagar district’s Demow.
His death has gripped the folk music fraternity with grief.
