Renowned Assam Social Worker Rajen Kumar Medhi Passes Away

Rajen Kumar Medhi, a distinguished social worker from Mirza in Assam's Kamrup district passed away due to heart disease on Wednesday. He was 76 years old.

Medhi was involved in various community initiatives, including the Mirza Regional Durga Puja, Mirza Girls' High School President, Mirza Raas Committee, Dakshin Kamrup Sports Association, and Palashbari Literary Society.

He retired from his position with the Food Corporation of India (FCI). His passing has cast a shadow of mourning across South Kamrup.
