Twitter Account of Assam's Cultural Affairs Department Hacked

The Twitter account of the Directorate of Cultural Affairs of the Assam Government has been reportedly, reports emerged.

This came under notice after some unidentified hackers took control of the account and posted unauthorized tweets on the official account since April 4, 2024.

However, the profile photo has not been changed by the hackers.

The authorities of the Directorate of Cultural Affairs said that they have checked the account and will take immediate steps to change the password.
