Bollywood personality Akshay Kumar has offered his fans with a special glimpse of his upcoming Independence Day release, 'Gold'.

The promotional teaser sets up the narrative background of the story of India's first gold medal post-independence at the Olympics.

The PadMan star through twitter said, "Thank you everyone for all the love and support pouring in for the special unit of #Gold…sharing it here, on popular demand 🙂 It's time to #StandUpForGold".

India won its first gold medal at the Olympics in 1948. 'Gold' will mark 70 years of the occasion.
