Big B Amitabh Bachchan will donate Rs. 5 lakh each to the families of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans, who were martyred in the Pulwama terror attack. Confirming about the donation, Bachchan said that he will be donating a total amount of Rs. 2.5 crore.

In one of the deadliest attack on the security forces in decades, a suicide bomber of Pakistan based terrorist organisation Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) rammed into a convoy of CRPF jawans that claimed the lives of 40 soldiers.

Several other celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Nawazuddin Siddique, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Anupam Kher, Madhuri Dixit, Javed Akhtar, Sania Mirza, Rishi Kapoor and Dia Mirza condemned the terror attack.
