Actress Shilpa Shetty isall set to make a comeback to Bollywood with film with action entertainer "Nikamma".
The film featuring Abhimanyu Dassaniand YouTube singer Shirley Setia, is directed by Sabbir Khan.
Nikamma is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy action film and producedunder the banner of Sony Pictures Networks India. The film has romantic, comedy and action scenes. On 22 July2019, film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh made theannouncement of the film on Twitter. The first schedule of the film has alreadybeen wrapped up.
Shilpa Shetty took to Instagram to confirm the newsthat she was returning to the big screen after a sabbatical of 13 years.
"Yesssssssss, it's true! My sabbatical of 13 long years comes to an end. I am so excited to announce that the film you will see me next in is #Nikamma, directed by @sabbir24x7 (cast still being finalised) featuring these amazing and talented actors @abhimanyud @shirleysetia @sonypicturesin. Need all your blessings and Thank you for all the love always," she wrote.
She also said "It feels great, I amready to take that plunge again and looking forward to be back on the bigscreen. It's a refreshingly unique project and am looking forward to workingwith Sabbir. I loved my role, and it's something I've never down before… Ican't wait for my audiences to see me in a new avatar,"
"Nikamma", producedby Sony Pictures International Productions and Sabbir Khan Films, is scheduled to bereleased in 2020.
