CM Sarma Inaugurates 3 New Footbridges In Guwahati

Taking forward his pro-development agenda, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday inaugurated three new footbridges in Guwahati.

The three footbridges are located in Adabari, Maligaon, and adjacent to Sukreswar mandir near Panbazar.

While the Adabari footbridge was constructed at a cost of Rs 10 crore and 38 lakh, the footbridge in Maligaon was constructed at a total cost of Rs 9 crore and 70 lakh.

The construction of the footbridges was initiated last year in 2020.

During the inauguration ceremony, CM Sarma said that a lot more developmental work will be done in the future.

He also announced that the over-bridge in the Supermarket area, which is near completion, will be officially inaugurated on Diwali this year.
