In another incident of crime, a youth was attacked by a miscreant in Guwahati on Wednesday.

The youth identified as Bishal Roy was attacked on his neck by a sharp weapon in the Bhangagarh area.

As per initial reports, the cause of the attack is yet to be ascertained. An investigation has been launched while Roy was rushed to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital and pronounced dead.
