Arpan Dutta, a leading cricketer fromSivasagar, has created history on Wednesday by claiming 10 wickets in aninnings in the ongoing Nuruddin Ahmed Senior Inter District Cricket Tournamentagainst Charaideo.This is the first time that any cricketer has set this record.

Arpan, the slow left-arm orthodox bowler, took 10 wickets for 48 runs in 19 overs with an economy of 2.53. He was awarded Player of the match

Born on November 16, 1993, Arpan previously played for Cricket Club of Dibrugarh. Arpan already took 18 wickets in the tournament.
