11 Coal Trucks Seized

At a time, when illegal coal syndicates has been continuously running in the State, the Guwahati police and CID of Assam police have seized more than 11 trucks loaded with coal.

According to sources, police detained the drivers and seized some incriminating documents from their possession. Reports suggest that out of 11 trucks, 3 trucks have been kept under safe custody of Basistha PS and remaining 8 were sent to CID campus.

The search operation was carried out on Saturday night near Koinadhara in Khanapara, informed police officials.
