12 Women Tested Covid +ve From Old Age Home

A total of 12 aged women including a 101-year old from Mother Old Age Home have tested positive for coronavirus in Guwhati on Wednesday.

Two of them have been admitted to Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) while five other have been brought to Delhi Public School, which is now a temporary quarantine centre.

 The rest of the aged women have been home quarantined in the old age home itself.

On Monday, rapid antigen tests were conducted in the old age home as precautionary measures. The results for the same came out positive for 12 of them on Wednesday.
