14 Rhinos Die In Flood-Ravaged Kaziranga

Another rhinoceros at Kaziranga National Park died on Sunday due to the devastating floods that have severely affected the wildlife and livestock in Assam.

The death tally of rhinos has spiked to fourteen now.

According to the data issued by the DFO of Eastern Assam Wildlife Division, 125 animals have succumbed to the flood, while, 157 animals have been rescued to date in Kaziranga. Furthermore, a total of 106 camps out of 225 camps have been affected while five camps have been vacated.
