25 suspected Bangladeshis arrested

A total of 30 suspected Bangladeshis were apprehended in Jorhat Nakachari on Monday by the police. According to police, The suspected Bangladeshis worked at a brick factory owned by a person  named Deben Das in the Nakachari.

Members of All Tai Ahom Students Union  apprehended the suspected Bangladeshis who did not own any valid citizenship documents and handed them over to Dewerapara police station.

Meanwhile, the owner of the brick factory, Das has also been asked to appear to the police station.

Few days ago, 25 suspected Bangladeshis were apprehended  in Tinsukia by the police after members of Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Parishad (AJYCP) and Motok Students Union informed the Bordumsa Police Station about the  suspects who could not produce any valid documents on being questioned. Later they were arrested  by the police for further investigation.
