Five cyber-criminals have been arrested from Guwahati on Thursday. The criminals were residing in Hotel Nakshatra.

Police arrested the criminals after they received information through internal sources.

The cyber-criminals have been identified as Aakash Sarma, Samarendra Brahma, Prafulla Laljanu, Sunil Baglary and Mehraj Ahmed Laskar.

The criminals have been arrested from Room No 607 of the hotel in an operation launched jointly by the Crime branch and Basistha police.
