Three including a couple died on the spot and three were injured when their car (AS-04-H-0033) hit a truck (AS-01-JC-8717) in Moran under Sepon in Upper Assam's Dibrugarh on Saturday morning.

According to eyewitness the accident was caused due to low visibility owing to fog.

The deceased were identified as Tankeswar Changmai (husband), Golapi Changmai (wife) and Manoj Kumar Dutta.

The injured were admitted to a hospital nearby.
