Apurba Kumar Nath, ACS, Assistant Commissioner of Bajali was allegedly attacked by a group of miscreants while he was on his way to work. The miscreants, who came in a Scorpio, had an argument after they had violated the traffic rules.

A case has been registered at Pathsala Police station in this regard. One of the miscreants managed to flee while the other two were caught by the police, identified as Anup Das and Nayan Das. Police have managed to seize the Scorpio without number plate.
