Adil Hussain, Utpal Borpujari withdraw from Pondicherry Film Fest

Renowned actor Adil Hussain and filmmaker Utpal Borpujari has ended ties with Pondicherry International Film Festival as its brand ambassador and advisor respectively.

Simultaneously, Festival director Saibal Chatterjee has also decided to not be associated with the aforementioned fest.

In a tweet today, Borpujari informed about his as well as Hussain and Chatterjee's withdrawal.

The filmmaker also informed that the advisory team remains deeply committed to Pondicherry and its cinema lovers with the "promise to come back with a fresh celebration of cinema and the arts in Puducherry"
