AFA’s training infrastructure to be ready in 2 months

Durgadas Boro, the president of the Assam Fencing Association (AFA) announced yesterday that the new infrastructure of the AFA which will have permanent training facilities will be ready within 2 months. It is being constructed at the RG Baruah Sports Complex. Currently the Assam fencers train at the infrastructure of Sports Authority of India (NE Region).

The president of the Fencing Association of India, Rajeev Mehta laid the foundation stone of the new infrastructure yesterday. The AFA also received a sum of Rs 31 lakhs as fund from MP Bijoya Chakraborty.
