Again AASU member attacked by BJP in Nalbari

BJP workers once again attacked members of All Assam Students' Union (AASU) in Nalbari. The BJP workers assaulted Nalbari AASU member at Borajul Chowk on Sunday evening.

The AASU member identified as Kankan Kalita has been attacked by BJP workers near Borajul AASU office. Kankan is the Sports Secretary of Nalbari district AASU.

Meanwhile, an FIR has been filed in police station against three BJP workers Rupen Barman, Ratul Das and Gokul Das in connection with the attack.

Notably, AASU members were brutally attacked by BJP supporters on January 27, when the members of the students' organisation waved black flags at Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and others at Ghograpar.
