Again black flags waved at Minister Himanta Biswa and others

In protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, the Nalbari unit of All Assam Students' Union (AASU) waved black flags at Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday in Ghograpar under Nalbari district. The members of AASU also waved black flag at Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary and Minister Pijush Hazarika.

The incident took place, when the Ministers were on their way to Nalbari, where Assam Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone of Nalbari Medical College today. Following the incident, the BJP workers engaged in a clash with the members of AASU.

Notably, in protest against the contentious Bill, black flags were waved at Minister Sarma on various occasions and in different part of the State. It may be mentioned that, almost all the senior leaders of Assam BJP including CM Sarbananda Sonowal had to face the wrath of public on their way on different occasions.
