AGP Meets Family Of Martyr Basumatary

Asom Gana Parishad (AGP)  visited the residence of martyr head-constable Maneshwar Basumatary in Kolbari village of Tamulpur in Baksa district of Assam on Sunday.

AGP president Atul Bora accompanied by Keshav Mahanta, Phani Bhushan Chaudhary and Rangiya's former Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Ananta Deka and Rangia's district AGP officials met the martyrs family.

AGP took stock of the situation and offered his deep condolences to the bereaved family. AGP also demanded immediate action against the masterminds of the attack.

Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan Maneshwar Basumatary of 98th Battalion  has been martyred in the biggest ever attacks on the Indian security forces  by the Militants from the Jaish-e-Mohammad that claimed the lives of 44 CRPF jawans on Thursday. Basumatary is survived by his wife Sunmati Basumatary and two children – Dhananjay and Didwm Shree.
