AGP supporters lock up party office

Pratidin Bureau

AGP activists locked up the AGP head office on Thursday in Guwahati as the workers of the regional party were angry over their party's alliance with BJP for the coming Lok Sabha polls in Assam.

As per reports, under the aegis of Mantu Dutta, the hardcore supporters of the party have locked up the AGP office for 30 minutes.

It may be mentioned that the AGP had pulled out of the alliance with the BJP in January right before the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill (CAB) was passed in Lok Sabha.
