AIUDF chief gets ‘Jhatka’ from election results

All IndiaUnited Democratic Front (AIUDF) Chief Badruddin Ajmal today alleged that the resultsof the Lok Sabha election has given him a 'Jhatka'(shock) and that the Congresshas stabbed him from the front for which they have to stick to one seat insteadof three.

Speaking toPratidintime, AIUDF Chief Badruddin Ajmal said that based on the mutual understandingbetween the Congress and AIUDF, the later has not fielded candidates in otherseats except Dhubri, Barpeta and Karimgang. "In a closed room we had agentleman agreement in the presence of Harish Rawat where three leaders ofAssam Pradesh Congress Committee were also present but the Congress has stabbedme from behind. They had made agreement with BJP," alleged Ajmal.

He further alleged that NEDA Convener Himanta Biswa Sarma had brought ticket from New Delhi by financing those candidates and it was him who made those candidates win and the Congress High Command was also aware of the fact but didn't take any step.

Ajmal alsostated that the Congress high command should take step against these leaderswho had deprived him of winning from the seats.
