Akhil Gogoi Granted Bail Under 3 Cases

The Gauhati High Court granted bail to Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) chief Akhil Gogoi under three cases registered in Chabua police station on Thursday.

The peasant leader has been granted bail under case no 293/19, 296/19 and 307/19. A treason case was registered against him under UAPA Act.

The peasant leader who is now under treatment at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for COVID-19 will be released NIA court grants bail to him under the case registered by NIA.

The next hearing at NIA court will take place on July 21.
