Alleged adulterated apples found in Golaghat

In Golaghat district, retailers are unknowingly selling adulterated apples, according to a claim that has been raised by a consumer recently. District commissioner of Golaghat has handed over the case to Food and Civil Supplies Department for investigating the matter.

Reportedly, on August 11, a consumer bought apples from a stall of Golaghat. While slicing the apples, the consumer detected some kind of wax ingredients in apples. And subsequently, the consumer filed a complaint regarding it.

Administration assured proper investigation for find out the cause.
