Another body recovered at Kopili plant

Onemore body was recovered on Tuesday, which was trapped in the pipeline burst atthe Kopili hydropower plant. According to reports, the body was recovered onthe G-1 floor from the site.

Meanwhile,rescuers are attempting to take the body out. However, the identification ofthe body has not been done so far. "The body is stuck in sand and mud," memberof the rescue team.

Itmay be mentioned here that on Monday, two bodies were recovered at the plant.

Thehigh-speed water pipeline burst at the Kopili hydropower plant in Assam's DimaHasao district not only led to massive flooding at the power station but threeemployees of the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO)present at the site, along with a casual worker have also been missing since.
