APCC carry out cycle rally to protest against the continuous fuel price hike

Pratidin Bureau

The whole of India is facing the heat due to the abnormal increase in fuel prices after the Karnataka elections and the present BJP government now faces a number of protests and raising voices for failing to keep the prices in check.

Same was the case in Guwahati on Tuesday as Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) members carried out a massive cycle rally in the heart of the city to protest against the BJP government's inability to control the prices.

APCC President Ripun Bora, Leader of opposition Debabrata Saikia along with many other prolific leaders from the party took part in the rally and condemned the government. The rally, however, did create a few traffic ruckuses in the G.S Road area but went on the finish peacefully.

The participants and APCC leaders did not forget to remind the Assam BJP leaders on how they protested about fuel price hike during their regime on the streets.
