APSC Scam middleman granted bail

Another accused in the Assam Public Service Commission ( APSC ) scam has been granted bail on Friday. The accused named Surajit Chaudhary has been granted bail by the Special Judge Court . Real estate businessman Surajit Choudhury was allegedly involvement in the APSC recruitment scam.

The Dibrugarh police arrested Chaurhary for allegedly  being the "middleman" who influenced  a judicial officer to grant bail to some arrested accused.

However the Dibrugarh police not  investigating the judicial officer so far has raised many questions.

Chaudhary was arrested on July 2018. His wife Pallavi Sarma Choudhury  was arrested earlier for getting her job fraudulently and is also among the suspended Assam Civil Service (ACS) officers.
