Arms recovered in Guwahati

In a suspicious incident, huge numbers of arms have been seized in Guwahati, where seven guns have been recovered from a house on Saturday. Along with the guns, more than eight hundred bullets were also recovered from the residence.

According to reports, the arms and bullets were recovered during the house's eviction by the Oriental Bank of Commerce.

The bank carried on the eviction drive as the owner of the house failed to pay a loan of Rupees 40 lakh, taken allegedly to build the house.

The person, who took the loan, has been identified as Nirod Deka.

On the other hand, the arms have been seized by the police.
