Artificial floods hit Bongaigaon city

An artificial flash flood situation triggered by heavy rainfall has aroused in the city of Bongaigaon on Sunday.

Areas of the city such as Palapara and Natunpara are affected by artificial deluge. The highway passing through the city is also waterlogged.

This deplorable situation arises every year due to the lack of proper drainage system. Meanwhile, State Disaster Response Force teams have been deployed for rescue operations.
