Arunachal violence: Assam Police launches helpline numbers

In the wake of current situation in neighbouring Arunachal Pradesh and to help the people of Assam stranded in the State, the Assam Police on Monday issued two helpline numbers.

The helpline numbers are: 8749860803, 0361-2381511.

On the other hand, non-tribal as well as non-Arunachali people living in different towns of Arunachal Pradesh have started leaving the State. People walked 18 km to 20 km from the mountainous State and arrived in neighbouring Banderdewa town in Assam.

Meanwhile, Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu has announced ex-gratia for the deceased and assured to meet their family members.
