ASI Caught Red-Handed Taking Bribe In Hotel

In yet another act of corruption, an Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) was caught red-handed taking bribe in a hotel located in Morigaon on Monday.

According to sources, the ASI was identified as one Pankaj Bora. He was caught red-handed by the anti-corruption branch while he was taking a bribe of Rs 4000 from a family of a woman who disappeared last week. It is to mention that Bora initially demanded Rs 10,000 to find the missing woman.

The anti-corruption team is currently conducting a search operation at Bora's residence in Morigaon.

As per information, there have been many allegations against the ASI previously.
