Assam: 22 Students Of Mangaldoi School Test Covid +Ve

The Darrang district administration on Saturday has shut down a leading private higher secondary school in Mangaldoi for seven days after 22 students tested positive for Covid-19.

These students are from both the first and second-year higher secondary classes of Jnan Vikas Academy situated at Ward No.10 Mangaldoi, Kalaigaon.

Notably, after a closure of nearly twenty months due to the outbreak of the deadly contagion, as per the orders of the Assam Government, all schools had reopened on October 19, this year.

Meanwhile, in the last ten days, a total of 90 Covid-19 cases were recorded in the Darrang district.
